- Axiostat is a bioactive haemostatic dressing. It works on a unique charge based mechanism of mucoadhesion which forms a mechanical barrier on the bleeding site.
- Axiostat Haemostatic dressings react with blood cells and create a robust seal.
- Unlike other Haemostatic dressings that are coated or impregnated with Chitosan, Axiostat is 100% chitosan for faster haematosis, leaving no debris in a wound.
- Protein free – non allergenic
